Hygienic conclusion of the state sanitary and hygienic examination for domestic products of September 22, 1998 № 5.08.07/4301

The lacquer is designed to cover the inner surface of the finished all-molded cans by spraying, roller method for prefabricated cans and tin and glass container covers from electrolytic and hot tin plating.

Consumption for one layer on a dry residue is 3-4 g/m2. After polymerization at t = 180 ℃ for no more than 15 minutes it forms a glossy golden coating with high chemical resistance. Used in conjunction with a thinner R-30.

 

Specifications of lacquer FL-559
  1. Appearance of lacquer. Homogeneous transparent liquid from dark yellow to red-brown color, slight opalescence is allowed.
  2. Appearance of the film. After drying, the lacquer forms a homogeneous glossy film of golden color without any foreign mechanical inclusions.
  3. Conventional viscosity according to the viscometer VZ-246 with nozzle diameter (4,000 ± 0,015) mm at temperature (20,0 ± 0,5) °С: within 80-115 sec.
  4. Mass fraction of non-volatile substances: 40-45%.
  5. Film tensile strength: 7 mm.
  6. The strength of the film during stamping: without disturbing the continuous coating.
  7. Film resistance to sterilization at (120 ± 2) ° С, h, not less than:

        In distilled water - 1;

        In a 3% solution of sodium chloride - 1;

        In a 2% solution of tartaric acid - 1;

        In a 3% solution of acetic acid - 1.
  8. Adhesion of the film before and after sterilization, scores, not more: 11.
  9. Mass fraction of chemicals in a solution containing 0.5% acetic acid and 2% sodium chloride after sterilizing the lacquer film and holding in the model medium for 24 hours at a temperature of (40 ± 2) °C, mg/dm3, not more than :

        Formaldehyde - 0.1;

        Phenol - 0.05;

        Diphenylolpropane 0.01;

        Epichlorohydrin - 0.1;

        Lead salts are absent.
  10. Resistance of the varnish film to the effect of the model medium after sterilization and holding in a thermostat at a temperature of (40 ± 2) °C: 10 days.
  11. There is no porosity.
  12. Drying time to grade 3 - at a temperature of 180-185 °C: not more than 15 minutes.
