Fiberglass of the brand "GLASSLEX" is a composite material based on synthetic cured polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass. As a result of the combination of the properties of fiberglass and synthetic resins, fiberglass has high strength, difficult to ignite, weatherproof, non-hygroscopic, does not rot and is resistant to aggressive media. Fiberglass is an easy, durable and beautiful material with excellent performance characteristics.

Areas of use

At present, fiberglass is one of the most demanded polymeric materials, which allows using it as functional, architectural and decorative solutions in the design and construction of the widest range of structures and constructions, as well as in the production of various special equipment and promotional products:

- production of vans, buses and other vehicles;;

- internal finishing of railway, water, auto and air transport;

- internal and exterior decoration of industrial buildings (cabins), office (partitions) and sports (hockey boards);

- advertising products (billboards, brandmauers, citylights, trolls, steles, stands);

- industrial facilities - warehouses, hangars, treatment plants, cooling towers, gas stations and sinks, pavilions, etc.;

- objects of the agro-industrial complex (greenhouses, winter gardens, glass houses, farms), etc.;

- for roofing and facade - fiberglass can be successfully applied in combination with other materials (sandwich panels);

- small architectural forms (kiosks, stops, beach cabins, cottages, etc.);

Fiberglass – is a modern material that is an excellent alternative to other conservative finishing materials due to its high performance properties: it does not get wet like wood; not subject to corrosion as metal; does not beat like glass; does not break like slate; does not succumb to putrefaction; is stable in a chemical aggressive environment; does not require painting, it is easy to clean, protects from ultraviolet rays, it is operated in a temperature range from -40 to + 60°С; a long period (not less than 10 years) retains its original appearance and has low water absorption, slightly transmissive to glass (up to 92%). Sheet fiberglass is the best alternative to the well-known polycarbonate, and is also an excellent electrical insulating material.

Fiberglass has a low specific gravity-1200-1600 kg/m³, which means it is lighter than the following materials used in industry: steel – in 5 times (7800 kg/m³), ​​aluminum – in 2 times (2700 kg/m³), ​​glass - in 1,5 times (2,200 kg/m³) and many others, which reduces transportation costs, installation time, and facilitates construction.

It is produced in the form of flat sheets or coils, with a thickness of 1.0 - 10.0 mm, a width of up to 2.5 m, and a length of up to 36 m. Fiberglass can be standard applications, for construction purposes, non-flammable (self-extinguishing) and for contact with food. According to the individual order, fiberglass can be produced in any color range.
